How It All Began
Rugrats & Halfpints began with a simple idea: to create a safe, exciting, and high-quality soft play space that we’d want our own children to enjoy. Frustrated by a lack of great local options, our founders, parents themselves, set out to build something better. What started as a dream quickly became reality: The dream was to create a centre that catered for mums with young babies and provided a support group for them, whilst also recognising that mums may have an older sibling too. We were the first sensory soft play in the UK.
We wanted more than just another soft play area, we wanted a place where families could relax, where quality time mattered, and where the coffee was as good as the climbing frame. With that vision, Rugrats & Halfpints was born.

We’re proud to still be a completely independent, family-run business, not part of a chain, not a franchise. That means every decision, from what equipment we install to the snacks we serve, is made with care and attention by people who truly love what they do. Because we’re hands-on in every aspect, we focus on what really matters: clean, safe environments, friendly faces, and fun that feels personal.
Our team includes parents, carers, and play experts who understand what families really need, whether it’s a safe baby space, an awesome birthday party, or just a hot coffee while the kids let loose. We’ve created play centres we’re proud of, and we’re thrilled so many families keep coming back.

Today, Rugrats & Halfpints welcomes families to two unique centres, each with its own character:

Cirencester: Our flagship site and biggest venue, featuring a multi-level play frame, baby sensory room, toddler zone, indoor football pitch, role play street, and a laser arena — all wrapped around a spacious café for grown-ups to relax.

Banbury: Designed especially for toddlers and younger children, with soft play frames, baby areas, ride-ons, a sensory corner, and a chilled-out café space for parents and carers.

We've visited many soft play areas with our toddler and this is the best one that we have been to.There is a lot to do with a four storey main area for children and several decent sized smaller areas including an under 3 and under 4 area.

My grandchildren had a great time, loved it there. I was extremely impressed with how clean it was,with a good cafe selection. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would highly recommended this 👍

Visited Rugrats on saturday 8th march 2025 @11:45 with my two daughters as one was invited to a party. Great understanding allowing my second daughter attend same time - Thank you Caroline and manager of the day .

Great place. First time I’ve been. Craig was so welcome and informative. He talked me through each element of the play activities on offer.

We had a great time over the weekend at our little ones party. Lou the host was really helpful always on hand with helpful suggestions. The room was the perfect size for the little ones and the party snack boxes were great . Took the stress out of a 4 year old party. Thanks again.
